My bubbly-dark little whore.
This is Laine. Laine is a loud-mouth whore who will do - quite literally - anything to get what he wants. He used to bounce about random forums and short stories and now he's currently one of the main characters in a book I'm writing with ~AnnetteStevens. I really am happy with the way this turned out. I attempted to do the rest of his face but: A. I couldn't put a face to Laine just yet, he's one of those characters that are ever-shifting (not in a literal sense). B. I couldn't get the shadows under the eyes to look right without making him look sick. C. Well, anything I drew looked like shit so I covered it up with hair XD. It's hard to draw fine details with a mentally-disabled mouse. I used several thousand ref. pictures on google, several pictures I had laying around of friends and my own body (no, I'm not that pretty, but shadows fall regardless XD) for the proper shadowing. And I think that after even the body, the hardest part was the lips  Oh, and placing the nipple (I'm horrible with that XD) Laine © Me Note: I have a huge thanks to ~0mri for helping me understand a lot. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
